A HUD Section 202 PRAC facility that offers 60 comfortable one-bedroom apartments for elderly people age 62 or older who meet the HUD guidelines for very low income housing. Castle Court apartments offer a broad range of advantages, including: living/dining area, full kitchen with refrigerator and electric range, bedroom, full bath with stall shower, emergency call bell system, smoke alarm, access to Lutheran Care Center bus service for shopping trips and special events, and an active tenant council.

Castle Court at Concord Village is owned by Lutheran Housing Development Fund Corporation at Concord Village and managed by Wartburg Lutheran Home for the Aging, an affiliate of The Lutheran Care Network.

  • Eligibility Criteria for Applicants to Castle Court at Concord Village
    • Occupancy is limited to elderly families where the Head of Household or Spouse is 62 years of age or older.

    • Household income cannot exceed the Very Low Income Limit for the Fair Market Rent (FMR) area in which the property is located. For Fiscal Year 2021, the income limit for Castle Court at Concord Village is $35,200 for one person and $40,200 for two people.

    • Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two (2) people, exclusive of a live-in aide as defined by HUD.

    • Occupancy of mobility impaired units is limited to elderly families that include a disabled member with a mobility impairment requiring the special design features of these accessible units.

    • A maximum of one (1) dog or cat per apartment is allowed. Additional pet rules apply.

    • Applicants must meet additional screening criteria established by Castle Court at Concord Village in order to be eligible for occupancy.
